Handmade Bonitos — visiting our atelier

Back in 2013, when Don Fisher was born, Julia (founder and creative director) was a one-woman orchestra: she designed the Bonitos, shipped them, answered emails from customers... and most importantly, she manufactured them, one by one, in her own living room.

Some time after that, cutting fabrics and sewing seams and zippers were the first tasks she wanted to delegate. She was sure of one thing: Don Fisher Bonitos had to have the best quality, so finding a professional tailor was one of the most important decisions that she had to make.

Fast forward some months and we found the perfect person for us: Alicia was a super kind and friendly tailor and her hands were magical creating our Bonitos. She started working with us side by side as Don Fisher started growing and she's with us ever since.

Nowadays Alicia is the leader of our sewing team, a team that work and live in Barcelona. We are very proud of their work and so happy our Bonitos are handmade in Barcelona and available in 30 countries around the world. The sky is the limit!
